When is the World Cup third place play-off?

After the crushing heartache of a semi-final defeat, two nations must face one more game.

The play-off will be held on Saturday, July 14 – the day before the final in Moscow.

Kick-off will be at 3pm in Saint Petersburg.

The 65,000 capacity Saint Petersburg Stadium will host the match – and is notable for being one of the most expensive stadiums ever built.

What TV channel is it on?

This will decided closer to the time – but will be on free-to-air TV.

The BBC and ITV are simultaneously showing the final, which kicks off at 4pm on July 15.
