Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Chelsea ace Willian

Manchester United are plotting a £60million move for Chelsea winger Willian this summer, according to reports.

The Brazilian star has been in fine form this season, scoring 13 goals for the Blues, and has been one of the club’s most consistent performers.

Yet there is uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge, as he is not tied down to a long-term contract.

Having landed Nemanja Matic from Chelsea for £40million last summer, United attempted to also sign Willian but were told there was no way he was leaving too.

However, Mourinho has been keeping tabs on the 29-year-old forward ever since, sending scouts to monitor his performances throughout the campaign.

And, according to The Sun, the Red Devils are ready to go back in for Willian when the transfer window reopens this summer.

The report also claims he is valued at around £60million by the Blues.

Willian is said to be keen to open talks with Chelsea over a new contract at the end of the season.

However, it is unclear whether the Blues will be willing to give him bumper new terms, or cash in if United come calling.
