Patrice Evra is set to join West Ham on a free-transfer, according to reports.
The former Manchester United fullback has been a free-agent since leaving Marseille by mutual consent after kicking one of his own fans in a Europa League game with Vitoria Guimaraes on 2 November.
Evra was fined €10,000 for his actions and was handed a seven month ban from Uefa club matches, a suspension which will end in June.
The 36-year-old enjoyed an eight-year spell with Manchester United, where he collected five Premier League titles and the Champions League.
