Six months ago it seemed as though Zidane could do no wrong in football. The 1998 Ballon d’Or winner had just delivered back-to-back Champions League titles to the Spanish capital and looked like the best manager in the world. However, a drastic downturn in form has seen Los Blancos slip further and further behind Barcelona in LaLiga and there are rumours he could be sacked if they fail to beat Paris Saint-Germain in Europe. If the Frenchman arrives at Stamford Bridge, he could be crucial in convincing Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois to remain at the club.

Antonio Conte looks to be on the brink of the sack at Chelsea after a humiliating defeat at Watford on Monday night.
The Blues suffered a disastrous collapse at Vicarage Road and went down 4-1 in a game where summer signing Tiemoue Bakayoko saw red inside 30 minutes.
After being trounced 3-1 at home by Bournemouth last week, Chelsea fans were hoping for a strong performance to allay any lingering fears their season is fizzling out.
Conte has pleaded with the Chelsea board to give him a public vote of confidence, but it seems as though the Italian’s race at Stamford Bridge is run.
Speaking after the game, he said: “I try to do my job and I try to put everything in my job, if this is enough it is OK, otherwise they can take their position.”
It has been a spectacular fall of grace for the 48-year-old, who stormed to the Premier League title in his debut season.
So just who could replace the ex-Juventus boss if he does get given the boot by Roman Abramovich?
talkSPORT has compiled a gallery of the potential managers who could take over at Stamford Bridge, should Conte get the axe.
