Dzeko and Palmieri could cost the Blues an estimated €50 million from Roma

Chelsea are closing in on the signings of Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri from AS Roma, according to reports.

Sky Italia are reporting the Premier League club are willing to pay €50 million plus €10m in bonuses to land the two players.

It is understood Chelsea are the only club Dzeko would leave Roma for.

The Bosnian target man scored a brace during the 3-3 draw at Stamford Bridge in the champions League back in October.

As a result, Michy Batshuayi could be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge to facilitate the deal.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly keen to land the Belgian striker should Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang make a switch to Arsenal.

Meanwhile Palmeiri, who is rated at €20 million, is keen to work under Antonio Conte.

The left-back has struggled with injuries in recent years, suffering a knee ligament injury on the last game of the season back in may.
